Maybe what Jesus told you is similar to the idea that when you cross a 
bridge over a roaring river, you don't think about how much faith you have 
in order for the bridge to hold you up.  Rather, you naturally cross the 
bridge and believe it'll keep you high and dry.  The bridge would be the 
object of your faith.
