shrink wrap like w/ winterized boats would work, and tis the season

the problem was thrown up to me as something to figure out or think on 
regardless of final conclusions, or how much crap is in the 
construction... I like the conjured images

considering recent news re: BP (the other one, not this one) drilling to 
plug an errant well and Chile drilling to free trapped miners it seems a 
timely inquiry
