I read that article from nearly a year ago, the thing that jumped out at me
was they seemed overjoyed to be getting rid of an HISTORIC junkyard.  Why
is there no hue and cry to save historic JUNKYARDS?

Some years back you expressed interest in the Brownstone Church that sits
almost touching the Q-Bridge in New Haven.  That building made the cut and
is saved as a Plumbing Supply House and den for the Hole in the Wall Gang
(Same administration).  But the Yale Boat House at the east side below the
bridge is a goner.  All the right parties and consultants were consulted
and consultations were had with the public.  We salvaged a great deal of
architectural lime stone and various other elements.  Check this article
