The engine of our economy is headed steadily towards corporate feudalism. As our earning are spent more on energy, health care, and interest, and it becomes possible for only a privileged few to own property or go to college, as more and more of the counter becomes like the strip-mined Appalachia, like Haiti like dust bowl Oklahoma, the corporate power will rule over our lives. The supreme court has already ruled that corporations have the right to free speech, will they next have the right to bear arms and raise a militia?

The unions have already been busted, because the members are too far in debt to strike. If drugs were the religion that soothed the masses in the 60's, digital communication is the white noise that drowns the savage protests in this century.

Who can speak truth in cacophony of a billion opinions about nothing?
