Ed, thanks it works great on all bands but 20.
I was on 3940 this morning talking to a mobile in eastern Texas and he said
my signal was very strong.

Junior, that type of antenna being designed for 20 meters and now with yours

at twice the length would probably work like a bomb on 40 and maybe doing 
not what you want on 20.  someone suggested a dipole and if you could try 
that it may just do the trick.  good luck and 73.
