Hi Danny,
Thanks for your very helpful info.

I think the extended coverage will sway me toward the Yaesu FT817ND when I 
can get the money together.

Internal batteries don't sway me one way or the other.

I already have two keypads I can use with the rig. The qsyer and the British 
Radio Mate that both have their advantages.

I will probably get the little Astron power supply to use with the rig.

I think I'd get this for use with either one.

I'm also eager to see how the commander program works with the Yaesu and 
Jaws.
