    Hey, Pat.

I'll look at the wlw link when I get the chance here.

Takes me back to the good old days when A M dxing was alive and well!

I still remember how excited I was when I first discovered it as a kid, just 
playing around with a little A M radio one night.

Probably is part of what got me interested in ham radio in the first place.

Tom,
I agree with your assesment of cleqr channels.  Isn't it WOAI on 820
- not by itself in the Chicagoland area any more.  And WSM has company.
A friend sent me the following link about WLW several years
ago.  Just tried it and it still works.  Lots of interesting history.
