About the New Kenwood

Friends who spoke with the Kenwood rep at the Huntsville Hamfest 2 weeks ago 
said that all Kenwood would say is that it is a replacement for the 570, and 
that there is no model number yet.

Release date is reported to be 2010. My guess is during or very near the 
Dayton Hamvention.

All of the posts to the Kenwood list are whining about how ugly the thing 
looks.
