Tom, give me a call. Jaws should become silent when k1000 has foccus, but
if you alt-tab, you should get jaws speech with everything else. You can
copy and paste from k1000 to word anytime you want to copy something. k1000
should only be active when it's window has foccus. That includes speech,
the menu bar, and the use of the number pad. You can highlight a word in
let's say a word document, copy it to the clipboard, switch to k1000, press
control-d to bring up the dictionary dialog, paste your word in to the edit
field, and then select which source you want to use with your highlighted
word. Their are choices of multiple dictionaries as well as encyclopedias.
