I forget the cost, but there is a charge for this simulator type radio 
program.

In other words, you are not really on 80, 40, 20 meters, etc.

The program does a respectable job of immolating the sound of ssb, even 
allowing you to tune up or down with the arrows until you tune in the 
station the way you think he should sound.

There is a demo and review of it done by David Allen, WD8LDY, on the blind 
cool tech page.

That review was posted several months ago, so you will have to look around 
the list in order to get to it for listening or downloading.

Dave likes it.

My opinion of it is "why should I pay money to pretend I'm on the radio when 
I can do that with Echolink for free?"
