This doesn't work 100% of the time, but works often enough that it is worth
trying: Copy the url from a .pdf on the web that gives you a problem and
paste it into a google search box and that page should show up as the first
and perhaps only result of your search . There is a fair chance that you
will be offered the option to "view as html", which JAWS will be able to
read.
This is far from a perfect solution, but has gotten me out of a jam more
than once.
