National made an HRO-300 solid-state receiver in around 1967, but it was a
poor performer as far as intermod and other characteristics were concerned.

The price range of good solid-state receivers runs all over the map, and we
don't know whether you are after AM reception, SSB/CW/digital, direct
frequency input, or other factors.
