I use the TS-2000 as my primary radio now. I'd have kept the 570 as a 
backup, but with 2 other radios that fit the bill as backups, I had to 
decide which one I could live with out and which one would bring in the most 
money since times are tight, it was the 570, or the 706 which I use as a go 
kit radio that had to go so the decision was easy. My TS-830 is my preferred 
backup now. Yes, I'm on HF enough I wouldn't think of going with no backup 
radio at all.
