I have it, and it works well. The only thing to bear in mind that if the
phone you use won't work when you have the MagicJack plugged in to the
computer using the short cable you get with it, then plug the device in
without the cable. That is what I had to do to get it to work.

Subject: Off Topic - Magic Jack

Well, we shall now see how well magic jack works. I ordered mine last
night. It runs on XP or higher, has a 30 day money back guarantee, and if
you pay with credit card, not a debit card, they will ship it and only bill
you 30 days later. Otherwise, you pay now but still have 30 days to try it.
Yes, it works on DSL service, I don't know how well, and also on cable high
speed internet. You get voice mail and your own phone number and nothing
else. If you buy one now, you can also get 2 years or 5 years for 20
dollars for 60 dollars instead of the normal 29.95 per year for service.
You just plug the magic jack into an available USB port, plug your telephone
into the magic jack, and you are up and running. No, at the moment, you
cannot transfer your current phone number in as a phone number. I believe
it said 911 and 411 service was also an option but I read so much about it
last night, I can't recall if that is a done deal yet or not.

Phil.
