There is a product available in pet stores called "PetZyme". This product is
designed specifically to eliminate cat stains and odors. My wife uses it on
the carpets when the dog decides to scare the cats (3 of them) by ambushing
them from behind the couch. I could get into the height these cats can jump,
but that would be off topic! Anyway, it DOES work, but I've never tested it
on electronics. I would recommend disassembling however much of this machine
as is practical and clean each part thoroughly and you should be good to go.
Good luck,

How horrible! Your best bet may be to use a damp rag and Q-tips to get it as
clean as possible and then air it out completely. I suppose you could dampen
the rag with Febreeze first, but check it on an inconspicuous area first.
This is likely to take some work. Are the cats still alive, or did you
manage to control yourself?

Seriously... I'm not joking! I need to know if there is some kind of
cleaning fluid that is safe for my laptop and its peripherals. I spent
three nights with my elderly cousin last week, and her cats anointed the
canvas case and all. Now even the headset and the cords, not to mention
the auxiliary disk drive, reek of cat urine. (I was able to launder the
computer case and it got clean.) Help?! Please??? Thanks in advance.
