The motherboard of the new computer is GIGABYTE GA-M57SLI-S4. I had
them put on Windows XP as I had an upgrade version. To put a clean
install of XP on would be time consuming with my programs, but if it
would solve the connection problem with the internet it may be
considered in the future. Is there not an easier way to solve the
problem? The processor is a AMD A64 X2 6000+ CPU running in 32bit mode.
