Don't know whether this is a hardware or software issue. Am using WinXP, SP3. After computer is inactive for a while, say 1/2 hour, and then I start using it the screen becomes nearly unreadable or "grays" out. Can barely see the mouse pointer. Only after actively using the computer, i.e. opening a web page, playing solitaire etc does the screen then, after several minutes of use regain its normal clarity. My monitor is a Dell 1130 21" CRT. Video card is an ATI All-In-Wonder X800 XT. Have not changed any sleep or power save settings.
Any suggestions?
