For the first time in years, I'm praising a gluten-free frozen bread product.
I just found Glutino's Harvest Corn bread....misleading name. It's really a corn and tapioca combination and passed the taste test as white bread (toasted, of course) with my non-gf husband. It's not really a "cornbread."
No aftertaste. No crumbling. Just toast it first.
I just lightly toasted a whole loaf and tore it into pieces, to make my turkey stuffing for tomorrow. (For family reasons, we're having Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow.) It was so good, I kept eating chunks, as I was ripping them up.
I'll let you know how the stuffing comes out.
FYI: It's Kosher and parve (DAIRY and CASEIN-free).
For those who live in the southern NJ area, I got it at Shop-Rite in Marlton, in their healthfood section.
