"... uses the well-regarded ELISA test."
- The Wall Street Journal, Friday, October 26, 2001 -

When it comes to food allergy, there are basically two types:

* Immediate Food Allergy (Classic, Immediate-Onset, IgE-Mediated): This allergic reaction to foods involves the Immunoglobulin E (IgE) antibody and also involves MAST cells. It is the most understood, but least occurring immune response to foods. It only occurs in less than 2-3% of adults and less than 5% of children. The reaction time occurs anywhere from seconds to up to 2 hours and typically affects the skin, airways or the digestive system. The most commonly known response is anaphylaxis, which can result in death. This type of food allergy is typically tested in a doctor's office by means of a skin "scratch" test. Additionally, it only takes a single food to cause a reaction and it is typically a food that is rarely eaten.

* Hidden Food Allergy (Food Intolerance, Delayed-Onset, IgG-Mediated): This allergic reaction to foods involves the Immunoglobulin G (IgG) antibody and DOES NOT involve MAST cells. It is the lesser understood, but most common immune response to foods. It occurs in anywhere from 45-60% of the general population and affects children and adults equally. The reaction time occurs anywhere from a couple of hours up to 2-3 days after consumption of the food. Any system, tissue and organ in the body can be affected and there are over 118 medical conditions/symptoms that are caused and/or provoked by this type of allergic response to foods including, but not limited to, arthritis, weight gain, fatigue, high blood pressure, Celiac Disease, sinus conditions, asthma and various digestive disorders. Conventional skin "scratch" testing is incapable of detecting this type of food allergy. Even more intriguing is that both a single food and a combination of foods can cause a reaction and it is usually with foods that are regularly eaten.

Optimum Health Resource Laboratories has been a specialist in food intolerance testing by providing relief throughout the world to thousands of people who have suffered from food allergy induced illnesses. Our US-based facility provides a clinically validated "finger-stick" IgG ELISA food intolerance test kit.

James Braly, M.D., author of 'Food Allergy Relief' and 'Dr. Braly's Food Allergy & Nutritional Revolution', has been quoted as saying, "By using the IgG ELISA technique, at the same time eliminating the need for a blood draw, this type of testing represents a great step forward in the field of food allergy screening. It removes the barriers of poor reproducibility and inconvenience that continues to plague competing tests."

IgG ELISA Food Intolerance Screening - Validated and Reliable...

A study, consisting of over 1500 patients validated the reliability of IgG ELISA food intolerance screening. Additionally, peer reviewed medical publications, such as the October 2004 issue of the British Medical Journal's GUT, reports the validity of IgG ELISA food intolerance screening.

Do You or Someone You Know Suffer From Any of These Conditions..?

According to international lecturer, researcher, author and food allergy expert, James Braly, M.D., "70%-80% of Americans currently suffering from chronic medical conditions of unknown cause, who have proven poorly responsive to conventional medical interventions, are suffering from IgG-mediated delayed-onset food allergies."

Cost Effective...

The cost for Optimum Health Resource Laboratories' 96-food test is hundreds of dollars less than what other laboratories charge for their food intolerance testing. Also, and unlike these other labs, our simple "pin-prick" test does not require a blood draw or the need for an ordering physician... both of which have their own additional costs! Additionally, we back up your request for our IgG food allergy screening with a written money back guarantee.

*Please Note: There is a very small shipping fee for orders being sent outside the United States and Canada.

Because of this, you now have the most cost-effective and convenient method to accurately identify and eliminate the foods from your diet, which are the culprits behind your ill-health.

The process is very simple...

We will ship to you the specimen collection kit along with an authorization from our office. We include everything needed in order for you to be screened against 96 foods (including gluten, gliadin, casein and whey) for IgG-mediated food allergy.

Once your specimen has been collected, by use of our simple "pin-prick" method (no blood draw is required), it is mailed to our laboratory for analysis (we provide the pre-addressed, pre-paid, return mailer).

When your food intolerance screening is completed, you will be sent a detailed report showing which foods you were screened against and which ones tested as being positive (offending) and which ones were negative (safe). In addition to your printed test results, you will receive the 48-page Your Optimum Health Resource Guidebook. This Guidebook is full of valuable information including:

* Multi-colored test result + an additional back & white copy.
(The colored copy for yourself and the B&W copy can be shared with your
doctor, dietitian, nutritionist, etc.)
* A letter of interpretation from our office.
* Easy-to-follow information on implementing your test results.
* Recipes.
* Food lists.
* Food family cross-reference guide.
* Nutrition chart.
* Progress checklist.
