We are doing a Lunch and Learn on October 16th on Celiac Disease.
Because we offer a free box lunch these are very well attended. Most of
the lunch is already figured out but I was going to add Fritos. After
reading some of the concerns about that I brought this up at our meeting
and someone suggested Baked Lays because they eat them all the time with
no problems (extremely sensitive person). Any suggestions welcome. We
are having Chicken Salad in a carton, sliced apples, individual bags of
carrots, a cheese stick, small Snickers, juice. Wanted a bag of chips to
fill it out.
For people interested we meet the 2nd Thursday of every month (we
sometimes skip December) at 1:00, Jones Regional Medical Center, 104
Broadway, Anamosa, Iowa. The Lunch and Learn is at a community building
in town. Because I am putting the Power Point together I have spent a
large amount of time reading and researching. I thought I knew a lot.
