Bingo. The way I'd state it is I'm not a prostelytizer (or hypocrite). If someone is eating something I don't approve of, I just look the other way. I do the same thing with smokers if the smoke is not bothersome. Now, if they say something about me eating meat (veggies often do), I will then proceed to shut them up with facts and figures and logic (veggies don't really like facts. Macros are even worse). I have done that a few times, though I've never been able to "convert" one :).
I guess my live-and-let-live philosophy does make me a bit touchy when others preach to me - especially when I know their rational is flawed.
