Isto es un explication vermente excellente, multo melior que io poterea facer solmente de
mi proprie experientia de mi lingua maternal:

Nota que il non es correcte dicer in anglese "I am living here for 20 years" ("io es vivente
aqui durante 20 annos"), proque "io es vivente aqui" mitte le emphase, un genere de
"ancora temporal" in le presente: on vole immediatemente demandar: "E quando va tu
finir viver aqui?", e non "durante quanto annos?" Quando on usa le presente perfecto "io
ha vivite aqui durante 20 annos", le ancora tempora es in le passate: le subjecto es le
*comenciamento* del action de viver e le action in su totalitate, non le presente.
