What OS is on the laptop? Homegroup only works for Win7.
Are there any firewalls involved other than Win7?

Subject: [PCBUILD] Laptop not working on Win 7 homegroup

I have a Win 7 homegroup set up between my two desktops. Everything
works well. Can not get the laptop to work on the homegroup. Network
discovery is on. This laptop did not find any homegroups to connect to.
I am using a Cisco N router. This laptop is connected wirelesly to the
internet through that router. All other computers are hard wired. Tried
to add a wireless device (this laptop) to the homegroup through the
desktop but guess a laptop is not considered a wireless device.
