A friend sent this update from someone who was on a list with Lisa:  the New 
York Institute list, or something like that:

Hi all:  I just spoke to my friend guillermo, who was a good friend of
Lisa's, and he has talked to her sister, and it seems that she had a heart
attack this morning in the shower.  She had a malignant tumor removed late
last week and her mother found her.  The funeral will be this Tuesday in
Brooklyn.  That is all the info I have for now.
