I can imagine Paul, in dream of how that very cake might be made. Rich,
dark, chocolate batter which even the hint of its aroma screams to the
taste buds to begin watering in preparation for a tasty delight. Watching
as it is mixed ever so carefully, folding one spoon full over another in
the bowl until mixed just right. The thick dark batter, creating a
thick ribbon waving to and fro as it is slowly poured from the mixing
bowl to the pan that will carefully heat the mixture to its delectable
finished dessert. Then, scooping every last bit out of the bowl, no, there
are no batter morsels left over to taste from the scoop or bowl, because it
is just too good to waste unbaked. Gently then it is slipped into the
preheated oven, and begins to bubble, giving off that home baked chocolate
aroma that just cannot be reproduced in a commercial setting, but that of
home cooked baked goods. Finally, finally, it is removed from the oven.
Two, warm, dark, rich, moist choclatey slabs of baked heavenly dessert are
then joined with a fudgey mixture drizzled over the lower slab. Finally a
rich creamy choclatey frosting, not too sweet, but bursting with a
choclatey fudgey taste which could send taste buds to the moon and back.
Finally it is done, served up so nicely, it would be a shame to eat it. He
looks at it with anticipation to devour it. As he reaches for the
silverware to partake, all his friends from E Church stop by for a surprise
visit, eating all but one small crumb which had broken off someone's piece.
hahahahaha.
