Hello everyone ...
For Christmas I bought an HP G71-340US Laptop PC whose specs are as follows:

-- INTEL Core 2 T6600 Chipset running at 2.2 GHz with 4 Gig of memory.
-- OS is Windows7 Home premium 64 bit.
-- Hard drive 340 Gigs

The PC works fine, but the original NORTON a/v license has expired and I want to install one of the free a/v available. I tried Microsoft Security Essential, but I am having problems because of the 64 bits processor.
Can anyone have suggestions on how to go about installing Microsoft essential ... or ... is there any other free a/v that will work well with a 64 bits Laptop? I would appreciate any suggestions from this fine forum.
Thank you.
