In connection with an old thread from late April, which had drifted away from the subject line,
my brother recently found a 30-second (silent) movie clip showing my father typing
(and hugging his trophy). I had said we had good home movies; they are a bit like this,
but with sound.

Regarding the subtext of sexism in the title & in the clip,
when my father was beaten by an electric typewriter in 1941,
the operator was a woman.
