Hi, all.
Well, I think our 20-meter test from last Sunday showed us very clearly that
20 meters is the place to be for our Cross-Country Blind Ops net, at least
during the Winter months.
So, let's try to re-establish our net tomorrow afternoon on or near 14.258
MHZ and up if there's qrm.
It seems like most folks don't have a problem with our new time, so let's
set it at 2100 Z; if my calculations are correct, that will be 1 p.m.
Pacific, 2 p.m. Mountain, 3 p.m. Central, and 4 p.m. Eastern.
I don't want to promise anything, but yesterday, a local ham helped me get
my recently-purchased Ameritron AL811H amplifier working, so, if I can do
the labeling of the controls today, and practice the tuning procedure a few
times, I might just be able to get that thing on the air myself.
See everyone tomorrow!
