that will work on the outbacker tripod I mentioned earlier in the week, or
the home made version I have and plays great! There's a lot to be said for
that kind of setup, I'll tell you. I've compared it against a permanent
installation, when the band's open, the mobile antenna on the tripod might
be a little noisier, being lower that might explain that but anyway, with
good conditions, it's pretty close. I haven't tried the screwdriver on one
of those tripods, but I know someone who has and says it's great.
