Hi.

Hams still helping each other out is still alive. A Friday a few weeks ago,
during the NCAA men's basketball tournament, I needed help programming a
radio that I just got. A guy who had just gotten his license offered to
come over and help me out. We were successful in programming the radio.
I've retired that radio because I got a TS-2000X and the TM-V71A radios. He
came back over and helped me hook these up. Thankfully these rigs don't
require vision to program. He's a technician who lives very close to me, so
my hooking the TM-V71A to Echolink is kind of a payback for his help. I
offered to buy him some of our local soda, but he hates it. Oh well, he
doesn't know what he's missing. His call is KY4NLR.

Just thought I'd share.
