For starters, using your Jaws so you have sound.
1. Open WindowEyes with control backslash.
2. Press alt-f then Y to go to your speech synthesizer submenu.
3. Make sure you have your synthesizer selected. If using a soundcard, you
either need Dectalk32 or Eloquence.

Subject: very off topic window-eyes question
Hello;
I know we have some computer "experts" and window-eyes users here and =
maybe someone has a simple answer. For reasons unknown I no longer have =
speech when running window-eyes. The program still runs at start-up but =
not a sound to be heard. Voice is marked on. I fortunately still had a =
old version of jfw which seems to talk just fine as does open book. It =
worked fine until Saturday and I have no clew what I did to kill it. =20
Before I try uninstalling and reinstalling, might there be a simple hot =
key that turns the voice back on?
Feel free to send ideas back off list so we don't drive everyone crazy.
Richard
