Hi Richard.

Yes it does use twin lead.  Because of the coaxial section of the element 
adding a bit of weight, I would somehow support the center.

I don't know if the angle of the twinlead is as critical on this antenna as 
it is on a G5RV.  Frankly, I've never had the luxury of installing a G5RV 
the way you are supposed to, and end up fudging it with the tuner 
anyway.  I guess as long as I check into the 75 meter NTS net at 5 o'clock, 
and they hear me, it's good enough.
