Richard,

Blind friendly it ain't.  Frankly, the old Ten Tec radios were the greatest
blind friendly radios one could ask for.  I was suspicious about buying the
ic-7000 when they offered a 50 dollar rebate.  That normally means they are
about ready to discontinue making that model.
