Was and electric sub that used to work for me - Earl Wilson " Let Earl
Do It" it said on his trucks. Earl used to run 2 or 3 crews and had
lots of tools and wire and parts in several trucks.
He was doing a job here in Frankfort down at the foot of Shelby Street
on a nice old house next to the river. Rewiring it. Earl went to go get
a hammer out of one of the trucks and couldn't find one. He is getting a
little poed so he goes through the other truck and no hammer there
either. Kinda burned him up that he couldn't locate a hammer. He had to
send one of the boys to go buy him one at the lumber yard. So nothing
else said on it and the job came to completion a few days later. So on
the side porch with the crew around him Earl looks at his crew and says
boys are we all done here? Yeah they said. Earl looks at each of them
and says are you sure we are all done we don't have anything else to do
on this job. They getting nervous now and looking around and then they
finally look at each other and agreed everything was done. At that Earl
looks at them and then picks up the new hammer and with a might throw it
arcs out and lands in the river. Crew is real nervous now and one
finally says "Earl whyd you throw that hammer in the river?"
"Because now I'll always know where at least one of my damn tools is"
I guess your concrete guy can say the same.
