I've been reading a lot lately. Uneven Ground: Recent History of 
Appalachia, all of the Ellis Peters Brother Cadfael series, all of the 
No 1 Ladies' Detective agency, and miscellaneous 60's and 70's American 
and British mystery and spy novels that a friend who is cleaning out a 
parent's library has sent me. Plus the usual newspapers and Wendell Berry.
