If it were me, I would not go with Vonage.  Some friends of mine had it, and 
often their calls sounded clippie.  Calls also dropped out at times for no 
apparent reason.  I am also not sure if they solved the problem of not being 
able to call 911 on their system.  And finally, this may also be a case of 
if your electricity goes down, your phone service will also go down.
