Hi Steve and Anthony,

I am sure that the major cause is this server--since in every one of the 
other 10 mailing lists I am on, they all handle rich text format and there 
is no need to do anything but use the Outlook Express and other pop3 program 
defaults.  But for some reason, Anthony is getting this stuff at the top of 
his messages.  I use Outlook Express and have the exact settings he has and 
I do not get the problem.

In that case, it may have something to do with the way this listserve
handles decoding.
