There was a program on the jfwlite page for that if that page is still 
there. I don't have the url in front of me but maybe someone else does or 
you do. Sometimes those mailboxes get corrupted, that's why it's a good idea 
always to save emails you care about keeping in places other than the inbox. 
If your friend didn't delete or rename the folders yet, sometimes restarting 
windows will get your messages back. I can't say I've seen this often but I 
remember once I had a few new messages I had trouble with, suddenly when I 
reopened outlook express there was nothing there, no messages and I wasn't 
happy. When I restarted everything was back.
