I had posted a request for restaurant and shopping recommendations for the Scottsdale, AZ area. Below are the responses I received. Seems to be a very GF friendly place! Thank you to every one for the responses.

Havana Café - They serve Cuban & Puerto
Rican food. The G-F menu is extensive; appetizers, entrees & desserts. It’s
a family owned place, with 3 locations in the Phoenix area. The Scottsdale
location is at 62nd St. and Bell Rd. Their G-F menu is on
their website. http://www.havanacafe-az.com/
Picazzo’s for pizza - I’ve eaten at both the Scottsdale location,
Scottsdale Rd. & Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd; and Paradise Valley , Cactus Rd.
& Tatum.

There
is a Whole Foods at Scottsdale Rd. & the 101 Highway, and also at Shea
Blvd. & Tatum Rd. There’s also a Sprouts Market at Cactus Rd. & Tatum
Shane’s Rib Shack off I-17 & Happy Valley Rd. PF Chang’s is on Scottsdale
Rd.

eliac.com/ . You should be able to find restaurants and
shopping links. Everyone raves about White Chocolate Grill and Maggiano's
Little Italy. I have been to True Food Kitchen in the Biltmore area which
is quite good. There is a restaurant in the Marriott Desert Ridge Resort
that has GF offerings. There is a Picazzo's Pizza near Scottsdale as well.
Scottsdale has a lot more choices than other areas in the Valley! :-)
For shopping you will be able to find good selection at Trader Joe's,
Sprouts, Fresh and Easy and Whole Foods.
A "must" is Picazzo's pizza in Scottsdale, Tempe,
and Sedona. They also
have yummy chicken wings.
The standard PF Chang's, Outback and Carraba's. Then
there is Pizza Picazzo's that has a really good gourmet pizza, salad and
dessert. The White Chocolate Grille at Mayo Blvd and the 101 has a great
GF selection. Across the street from them is WHole Foods. Other
suppliers of GF foods are Fry's, Safeway and Sprout's grocer stores with
various locations.
