One writer said Quaker Grits were subjected to the ELISA test and tested high for contaminants.
I don't know the circumstances under which they were tested, by whom, how thoroughly, how reliably (not implying anything), etc.
But since I don't want to be responsible for anyone getting sick, despite a heavy majority of the other responses saying Quaker Grits are fine, I felt obligated to pass the information along to you.
And one warning, I'm talking about plain grits. Obviously, if there is a product in which the grits has other ingredients, it warrants reading the label. I'm told some Quaker grits products say wheat on the label, but not the plain grits.
