This post is a result of David's request for a printer driver for his
mother's computer. Her computer was NOT connected to the Internet so she
could not get direct updates from Microsoft.

My question to the list is this. Is there an easy way to extract printer
drivers from a Windows 7 computer so they can be used again on another
computer? I tried using Microsoft's Printer Migration tool, but it copies
ALL the files related to printers, not just a specific printer. I also found
some driver backup programs such as Double Drive, but they do not list
printer drivers.

In the past, I have reinstalled printer drivers simply by going to the
Windows\inf directory of another Windows installation that has the driver,
but that is not a practical thing to do since there is a whole lot of files
there to copy! I am looking for a simpler way to extract only the needed
driver files. Thank you for any help.
