Hello, my name is Jessica and I am a second year occupational therapy 
student at Kansas University Medical Center.  Our class was given an 
assignment to choose and join a disability/special needs oriented listserv of 
our choice, and my choice was this one.  I am looking forward to learning 
about you and the topics/issues concerning you and your family.  I am asking 
permission to monitor and participate in this listserv.  If you do not want me 
on your listserv, I certainly respect your decision.  If you do not mind, I would 
like to be apart of the listserv and over the next few months, I will be writing 
a paper over what I have learned from this experience.  Thank you
