One thing I have in my computer is called Ccleaner I run it every day
before shutting down and it cleans all unnecessary files from your
computer. I also run every day the disk clean up and once a week at
least I defragment because I have notice when I don't my computer starts
slowing down and running out of space. You could download the cleaner at
filehippo.com and is free.
Good luck

Subject: Re: [PCBUILD] Low Disc Space
I had a problem "a little" like this.
I recovered over 6G of file space (today) by finding I had lots of stuff
in Recycler folders.
Somehow, the Recycle Bin went a little crazy and got sloppy.
Stuff deleted would not be totally gone.
See: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/229041#top
"Files Are Not Deleted From Recycler Folder"
That only partly worked for me... I could not see the stuff they said I
"should" be able to see...
I had to look at the drive with the program from:
http://windirstat.info/ (Don't sweat the "unknown" stuff,
that is a different "problem"...)
That allowed me to see the path and files I needed to.
I had to turn off the Recycle Bin entirely while I cleaned.
Good luck... Rick Glazier
