Hmmm, good point. I grew up in Germany eating lots of bread with butter,
cakes, cookies, etc. When I moved here I feel for the low fat/high carb
nonsense and did that for years. Next I adopted an Atkins type diet but
still ate wheat in the form of low carb stuff. And this year I found out I
am gluten intolerant so my gut has definitely been damaged.
The question is will my body heal as long as I keep avoiding wheat but
continue to eat eggs, or do I need to avoid eggs also to let my gut heal. I
really miss eggs and if I could eat eggs then I could make mayonnaise which
I also miss.
