But, each administration has placed its own mark on the program.  Clinton
era, got loans went to direct loan site to have them consolidated no
problem.  They were an equal mix of subsidized and unsubsidized.  Fast
forward to 43's era loans.  Went back to college, got loans, tried to
consolidate them, they could not find them from the company I received them
from, had to default on them to find out were they were so then I could
consolidate them up.  No subsidized loans.  So, loans ballooned up with
extra fees, etc.  This has actually been happening more and more to other
current students.
