Howard,
It's like real estate: Location, location, location. Of course maybe real
estate isn't such a good analogy these days. And being on the east coast
cuts both ways. Although I can often get into Europe, , I've never worked
farther west than the west coast on 160.
I did get the k5D guys on both cw and ssb on 160 and they have been loud
at times. If you have an antenna for the band, give a listen, the
propagation gods may be kind to you.
