Hi Eric,
I went to Dayton back in the 90's and found it a lot of fun. I was living
in the Northern Kentucky area which is about 50 to 75 miles from Dayton. So
I got to talk to a lot of local people. When I lived in Northern Kentucky I
was able to hit one of the dayton machines. I think it was the 145.10
Repeater I think it was. to the best of my memory they all so had a 146.94
repeater that I got into on ocasion. So it was a lot of fun going to the
ham fest there. by the way, field day can be a lot of fun all so I went to
the local field day this year. I got there about 6:30 p.m. and stayed to
7:30 a.m the next morning. I found out later when I invited some one to
come and speak at a session at the state convention of the Kentucky councel
of the blind that a picture of my Leader Dog Annabelle and I at field day
was on there web sight. That might be my only clame to fame.(smile).
