Hi,
I understand that the new Yaesu FT450 also has a built in speech module and
I own a Yaesu VR5000 receiver that I put a speech board in. I wish that
there other rigs were more accessible, but they are not!

Hi all, the only Yaesu HF radio with a speech board that I know of, is
the FT840, I believe, or it might be the FT847! Other than that, the
only radio's that Yaesu ever put speech boards in were the FT2700, wich
was a dual band mobile and the FT736 wich was a multi-mode radio covering
6 meters through 440 MHz.
