        I have an icom 751A with the voice chip and it's great.  Good luck on finding the voice chip though.  It took me over a month of every day searching and then I still had to shell out almost $100.00.  You may want to check out some of the older kenwood models.  Piex I think it is makes speech chips for some of them.
