Openbook is very nasty to uninstall.  When I had a problem like that, I had 
to manually do it, going through regedit and everything dangerous like that. 
This was a long time ago, so my memory may not  be accureate.  See if you 
can uninstall window-eyes, then uninstall openbook.  Then install 
window-eyes, and last of all install openbook.  I don't have high hopes, but 
it might work.  You can disable spyware software, but I have found it 
difficult and usually unnecessary to uninstall anti-virus software.  In the 
old days things were different.  Openbook puts stuff in very strange places.
